Tracking patchy drizzle, fog overnight before sun returns tomorrow

TONIGHT: Rain gradually diminishing, fog developing overnight. Lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Morning fog followed by gradual clearing. Highs in the mid-upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Fog develops tonight and sticks around through early tomorrow morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect near and around the Lake area through 8:00 a.m. Thursday. We'll see gradual sunshine with highs in the mid-upper 40s. Friday starts off clear, but clouds roll in late in the day ahead of another low pressure system that will bring rain by late Friday night. Temperatures will be variable again on Saturday as points north of the front will be cold, in the 30s and 40s, while points south reach the 50s and 60s. Columbia and Jefferson City look to hit near 50. Rain exits late Friday afternoon, leaving us chillier on Sunday with highs in the mid-upper 30s. Next week's pattern looks cooler overall, and the wind flow pattern of the jet stream will allow several disturbances to skirt the region. We will likely have a shot at snow between late Monday and Wednesday, but any impacts/extent/amounts are still yet to be determined.
