Tracking a mild, spring-like weekend

TODAY: Increasing clouds with highs in the low 50s. Winds out of the southwest gust above 20 mph in the afternoon.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy and warmer in the 60s. Calmer winds from the south.

EXTENDED: Highs climb 20+ degrees above average into the mid-60s on Monday ahead of a cold front. This will bring several temperature swings midweek as it wavers nearby - Tuesday looks cooler as the front sinks south of the area, but then we rebound again on Wednesday with this boundary tracking back north. The front will produce rain by late Tuesday and Wednesday, with thunder possible in warmer air on Wednesday. There is good confidence in a cooldown behind this system late week as highs drop closer to average in the 40s.
