EXTENDED: The majority of Saturday remains dry and cool with highs into the lower 30s. By Saturday afternoon we welcome a wintry mix with portions of Mid-Missouri seeing rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow making its way in from the west become widespread late. This mix continues through Sunday with Sunday afternoon seeing a complete switch over to snow that exits early Monday morning. Travel impacts remain high across the region Saturday night through Monday morning. Temperatures on the back side of this system cool dramatically thanks to a artic air mass pushing in from the northwest causing lows reaching closer to zero beginning Monday night.
