Tracking dense fog tonight, mild weekend ahead

TONIGHT: Clear with dense fog developing late. Lows in the mid-upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Gradual clearing with late day sun. Highs in the low 60s.

EXTENDED: Dense fog develops late, lowering visibility to around a quarter mile or less through mid-morning for much of Mid-Missouri, especially east of Highway 63. Once fog clears, we'll see more sunshine tomorrow afternoon, sending temperatures into the lower 60s. The weekend is looking mild with highs in the 60s on both days, but more clouds on Sunday as moisture streams in ahead of our next low pressure system. Rain and a few storms will be likely on Monday through early Tuesday, brining about 0.5" to 1" of rainfall. Behind that, it's cooler for the rest of the week as gusty winds ramp up and another low pressure system sets up, delivering  a chance of rain between Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures look to fall into the 40s from Wednesday through the end of the week.
