Tracking cooler temperatures and gusty winds tomorrow

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Breezy and cooler with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Winds could gust to 30 mph at times.

EXTENDED: A nice push of cool fall air arrives tomorrow as a front works through early in the day, dropping temperatures into the upper 60s to low 70s with gusty winds. Winds could top 25-30 mph at times, and with dry conditions there could be a slight fire risk for western and southwest Missouri where it's been drier since the beginning of September. We could see some steam fog developing on Wednesday morning as temperatures drop into the low 40s for the morning, but otherwise its another day in the low 70s. We begin to warm back up toward the end of the week with temperatures in the low 80s on Thursday. The weekend is looking quiet and mild with above average temperatures.
