Tracking a gradual warmup trend throughout the week
TONIGHT: I'm tracking another calm and cool evening with temperatures dropping into the high 40s by the end of the night. Winds will be out of the south at 4-8 mph and sky conditions will be clear.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking a slightly warmer day tomorrow with the help of southerly winds at 5-8 mph and plentiful sunshine assisting in the warmup process. By the afternoon, temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s across the area.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking the warmup trend continuing throughout the first half of the week due to continued sunshine and southerly winds sticking around. The warmest day of the week is expected to be Wednesday with afternoon temperatures in the high 80s and potentially low 90s before a slight cool down into the weekend. This will be due to the remnants of a tropical disturbance currently in the Gulf continuing to move up to the north and into the Midwest throughout the second half of the week. At the least, this could bring some cloud cover into Missouri, resulting in slightly cooler afternoons.
