Tracking a cool and cloudier afternoon with a cold front into Friday

TODAY: Tuesday is another cool day with highs in the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies and a light easterly breeze. Partly cloudy here means some high and thin clouds that will leave us still very bright.

TONIGHT: Skies will clear up overnight, and a sunny sky with little to no cloud cover is expected Wednesday.

EXTENDED: With that sunny day plus a more southerly wind, we will expect temperatures to make their return to the 80s by the afternoon. Humidity will be slow to return, but it will be back on Thursday, just ahead of a cold front that rolls in Thursday night. We'll be noticeably warmer with more humidity during the day, before the rain chances pop up along the front Thursday evening. This will likely be showers and weak thunderstorms.
