Tracking a weekend warmup despite storm chances

TODAY: Friday is warmer thanks to the return of south wind. Expect highs in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies.

TONIGHT: A sprinkle or two will be possible this evening, otherwise just partly cloudy skies and a low in the 60s and 70s is expected.

EXTENDED: Chances for showers and storms arrive by 5-7 a.m. Saturday morning near HWY 65 and will linger in the region through noon. This pattern may repeat on Sunday with morning storms a bit further east. Highs are in the 80s on Saturday and return to the 90s on Sunday. Daily 90s are expected each day next week with some humidity. We'll likely be mostly dry Monday with rain chances returning midweek.
