Tracking the coolest day of the week before a warm-up this week

TODAY: Wednesday is likely the coolest afternoon this week, as we see continued east winds and some partly cloudy skies yield high temperatures in the 70s.

TONIGHT: The coolest morning comes tonight, with temperatures falling into the 50s under a few high clouds through the early morning.

EXTENDED: Thursday marks the beginning of our warm up, as we expect temperatures near 80 with a more southerly breeze. Still, it's a mild day as we don't see a noticeable climb in temps until Friday, when we reach upper 80s. Our low level jet will start to align with the region, pumping gulf moisture into the region. This has us feeling a bit more humid over the weekend, when we'll also see a return of hit and miss rain chances thanks to said moisture. Daily rain chances and highs in the 90s with noticeable humidity remains the forecast through Tuesday.
