Tracking cooler air and another drop in humidity
TODAY: Wednesday is a cooler day, as we start in the 60s around sunrise, and only look to warm around 20 degrees with winds from the north and increasing sunshine through the day. Highs will settle in the low 80s.
TONIGHT: Skies are mostly clear. As winds remain light, they will shift from the northeast. Temperatures fall into the 60s.
EXTENDED: Thursday brings a slight warmup into mid-Missouri ahead of another cold front. Highs will climb into the upper 80s, with enough humidity to have us feeling just a few degrees warmer. This will mostly be another dry cold front as it passes, but rain chances of around 10-20% will exist west of a line from Warsaw to Macon. At most, a sprinkle to a light shower is possible Thursday morning, through evening. These chances jump to near 40% closer to Kansas City. The cooldown and fall in humidity will be the big story yet again with this next front. Temperatures will only reach low 80s each day Friday through Monday, with dewpoints expected in the 40s and 50s. Rain chances return Sunday night, and linger into early next week.
