Tracking a warm first half of the week before a cool down ahead

TODAY: Monday is mostly sunny and hot, with highs in the 90s feeling like 100.

TONIGHT: Temperatures are warm again overnight, with mostly clear skies and a continued south wind keeping us in the 70s.

EXTENDED: Tuesday is warm again, with highs in the low 90s before a cold front eclipses the region. This will likely cut temperatures short of their Monday highs by a few degrees, but true relief doesn't set in until Wednesday morning, when temperatures fall into the 60s. The rest of the forecast is mild and dry, with highs in the 80s through the rest of the week and into the weekend. Rain chances are also nowhere to be found, until at the soonest Sunday, but even then it's a slim chance.
