Tracking another round of storms Sunday afternoon

TODAY: An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is in effect through 7 p.m. Sunday for possible severe storms. Morning storms have already brought severe winds and hail to the area and this is a possibility up to 9 a.m. with this first round. Another chance of storms redevelops south of I-70 this afternoon and tracks southeast with all severe hazards possible including a few tornadoes. Storms track out as the severe threat wanes by sundown.

TOMORROW: Memorial Day is expected to be dry with clouds clearing and temperatures in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Dry weather sticks around throughout the week with high temperatures slowly approaching the low 80s. An active pattern picks back up next weekend but little details are difficult to discern this far out.
