Tracking a cloudier Friday with a beautiful weekend ahead

TONIGHT: Gradually increasing clouds with lows in the lower 50s. Breezy with northwest wind gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Clouds gradually decrease with highs near 70.

EXTENDED: Clouds will begin to roll in tonight, keeping temperatures near average in the lower 50s. We'll see a bit more cloud cover tomorrow as a weak front drops in from the north, but rain will be very limited if we do see a few sprinkles. Saturday looks wonderful as temperatures top near 75, and Sunday will be warmer near 80 as winds begin to shift. A disturbance could bring some rain to areas across western Missouri by Sunday evening. Monday looks like our stormiest day as another low pressure system moves in, but the severe risk is quite low. Highs gradually return to near 80 by Wednesday, but we'll see another chance for rain and storms by late Wednesday into Thursday. Rain amounts for the entire week will be around 1".
