Tracking several rounds of rain and storms

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a line of storms forming across our southeastern counties that will continue to move to the east throughout the rest of the night. Severe weather unlikely, but storms could produce gusty winds and sub-severe hail (<1" in diameter) if they become strong enough. Mid-Missouri will cool down into the low 50s by the end of the night.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking another round of showers and storms throughout the afternoon and evening hours. The best chance to get rainfall and hear rumbles of thunder will be held to our southern counties, although light rain can't be ruled out closer to I-70. Central Missouri will warm up into the low 70s by the afternoon hours.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a calm start to Monday, but a stronger storm line forming to the west in Kansas will make it into mid-MO by the afternoon and evening hours. These storms have the potential to have stronger characteristics compared to storm activity this weekend, so make sure to stay up to date with us as this system approaches. More rain and thunderstorm potential is expected Tuesday and Wednesday before a settled weather pattern takes over as the weekend approaches.
