Tracking rain and warmup this weekend
TONIGHT: A weak cold front passing through tonight will settle just southeast of mid-MO. Temperatures fall into the upper 40s under partly to mostly cloudy skies near the boundary. This will all help keep temperatures warm overnight.
TOMORROW: Mostly dry weather is in store for Columbia and possibly Jefferson City on Tuesday. Rain will be in the forecast, but anchored towards I-44. Showers and storms may amount to a trace to a few one hundredths of an inch near I-44. Temperatures will be mild, in the 70s.
EXTENDED: This boundary will settle near I-44, and keep rain chances focused in this region. We'll have rain chances here through Thursday. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler, in the 60s. A warmup ensues on Friday with more sunshine and highs near 70. We'll be breezy and near 80 over the weekend.
