Tracking a warm and windy Tuesday with higher fire danger

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and windy with low humidity. Avoid open burning with increased fire weather conditions.

EXTENDED: Gusty southwest winds will help us get back into the 60s tomorrow as sunshine continues. That said, we'll see an upped fire danger with low humidity coupled with those strong winds and warmer temperatures. Wednesday will be a bit cooler as a weak front moves through with temperatures only making the upper 50s. A couple of weak disturbances could bring some clouds and perhaps a few showers between Thursday and Friday, but we'll see a better shot at more widespread rain or even a few storms between Saturday night and Sunday. I'm tracking anywhere from an inch to an inch and a half of total rain through Monday. Weekend temperatures will be dependent on the track of low pressure, ranging from the 50s to low 60s.
