Tracking fall-like weather as sunshine gradually returns to Mid-Missouri

TODAY: I'm tracking a cool, mostly cloudy afternoon with a very low chance of running into spotty drizzle, but most will remain dry. Temperatures top out in the upper 50s as westerly winds at 8-12 mph, gusting up to 20 mph, continue.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds briefly exiting overnight with westerly winds at 8-12 mph. By dawn tomorrow, expect temperatures in the low 40s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking cloud cover returning for Thursday afternoon as temperatures warm back into the low 60s. Friday will start cloudy and cool in the mid-40s, but sunshine will return by the afternoon as temperatures slowly warm into the mid-50s. Starting the weekend, a noticeably cooler morning is on the way, with Saturday morning temperatures out the door in the low to mid 30s. Slightly more sunshine Saturday afternoon will boost temperatures back into the mid-50s before low 60s arrive Sunday afternoon. By Monday and Tuesday, sunny conditions remain, with mid-to-upper 60s in the forecast after mornings in the upper 30s and low 40s.
