Tracking rain coming to an end today

THIS AFTERNOON: Temperatures will steadily drop the rest of the day ending up in the 40s around the dinner hour. Some spotty showers may linger into the rest of the afternoon.

TONIGHT: We'll dry up overnight with temperatures falling into the 30s.

EXTENDED: Starting near freezing, Saturday will be chilly. Highs are slightly cooler than average, in the upper 40s with mostly sunny skies forecast. Sunshine warms temperatures into the 50s and 60s on Sunday and Monday. Clouds return Tuesday, ahead of a chance for rain that night into Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures reach into the 70s with this round of rain.
