Tracking a few showers tomorrow, big warm up
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and not as cold with lows in the upper 30s.
TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and breezy with south wind gusts up to 20 mph. Highs in the lower 60s with a few showers possible by late afternoon.
EXTENDED: Clouds start to pick up tonight as a weak disturbance rolls in for Thursday, with a boundary setting up to our north during the day tomorrow. South of that boundary, it's breezy across Mid-Missouri with temperatures soaring into the lower 60s despite clouds. There could be a couple of late afternoon or evening showers right along that front, but measurable rain isn't expected tomorrow. We could manage a bit more sunshine on Friday, keeping highs near 60. Over the weekend, we'll be tracking a deeper low pressure system to our west that will curve to the south through Sunday. The eastern periphery of the low could bring rain late Saturday afternoon or night with showers continuing potentially for areas south of I-70 into Sunday. Rain amounts will generally end up less than 0.25" to 0.5". We'll be cooler to end the weekend as we only make the lower 50s Sunday. Next week looks awesome to start off with another blocking pattern setting up with Mid-Missouri underneath upper high pressure. That points us toward above average temperatures and a dry stretch of weather at least through mid-late week.
