Tracking more clouds, cooler Tuesday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds as a cold front approaches, with a few sprinkles possible. Lows in the mid-30s.

TOMORROW: Cloudy and cooler with highs in the lower 40s. A few sprinkles possible.

EXTENDED:  I'm tracking a cold front that will bring clouds this evening, and perhaps a few sprinkles tonight into Tuesday. Not much precipitation is expected, but you'll notice the cool down with temperatures more than 10 degrees cooler in the lower 40s. Clouds gradually decrease on Wednesday with sunshine coming back by mid-afternoon. Highs get back to near 50 as upper high pressure builds across the region. Thursday is the warmest day of the week as we approach 60 degrees, but there is some uncertainty on how Friday and the weekend will play out. A large upper level low pressure system will approach by the end of the week, making Friday breezy before potentially bringing rain chances and a cool down over the weekend. A blocking pattern looks to set up beyond the weekend, keeping the pattern stagnant early next week.
