Tracking a sunny and warmer afternoon with possible weekend rain

TODAY: Highs top out into the mid to upper 50s as winds remain out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. Skies remain mostly sunny until later afternoon hours/ early evening as cloud cover builds in from the west.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-30s with mostly cloudy skies as winds remain out of the southwest at 4-8 mph.

EXTENDED: Friday remain mostly cloudy as highs surge into the mid to upper 50s once again. Late Friday night after 10 pm, chances of scattered showers increase remaining throughout Mid-Missouri until Saturday night before exiting east. Temperatures cool as a result of this passing cold front back down near the 50 degree mark throughout the weekend and into next week. Sunday through next Wednesday remains dry.
