Tracking the return of autumn air
TODAY: Monday is more of the same as we see mostly sunny skies, and feel temperatures climb to summer-like highs in the upper 80s.
TONIGHT: Clear skies maintain to drop us into the low 60s with a light south breeze.
EXTENDED: We will increase south winds Tuesday, keeping us in the upper 80s, but with a few extra clouds in the sky. This is an increase in moisture that will bring rain chances as soon as early Wednesday morning. Showers and storms keep highs in the 70s/80s on Wednesday, before a cold front brings an end to showers and storms sometime around midday on Thursday. This will have us feeling slightly cooler on Thursday, but highs are forecast in the mid-70s. A second cold front moves in early Friday, dropping the forecast high into the 60s to end the work week. Friday is our first dry day after rain chances midweek, despite some added clouds. Sunshine is expected Saturday into next week. We may start in the low 40s Saturday, and only reach 60s by Saturday afternoon. Then we'll be a few degrees warmer on Sunday, but keep the fall like feel all the way into next week.
