Tracking a gusty start to the weekend

TODAY: Winds will gust up to 30 mph early in the day as yesterday's system departs. Cool northwesterly flow will keep highs in the 50s.

TOMORROW: Winds shift back south on Sunday getting us back to around 70.

EXTENDED: Our next storm system will push a warm front through the area on Monday, triggering a few storms in the afternoon or evening. Some of those could bring the potential of small hail. On Tuesday, gusty winds bring temperatures to around 80 degrees ahead of a strong cold front. The setup looks similar to our last round with the potential of severe storms by late afternoon into the overnight hours. Stay tuned as details on this risk come into better focus in the coming days. Once the cold front passes through, we'll be cooler with highs in the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday.
