Tracking another warm day with storms possible Monday night

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with dense fog developing overnight. Lows in the upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy with morning fog and a chance for afternoon drizzle. Highs in the lower 60s. Storms moving into the area after sunset.

EXTENDED: We can expect fog to roll in by morning as a warm front lifts north through the area. Visibility could drop below half a mile in many locations for the morning commute. Tomorrow is another unseasonably warm day as highs get into the lower 60s. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a few spot showers, but most of the afternoon is dry. A cold front moves in from the west late in the day, bringing showers and storms in by around 6:00 p.m. for our western counties, and thereafter through about midnight for points east. A few storms could produce 1" hail, 50-60 mph winds, and a low tornado threat. Rain amounts will range from 0.5" to 0.75" with 1" possible in stronger storms. Tuesday is dry by morning, but we could have some fog lingering as temperatures start out in the lower 50s. We'll see our daytime highs in the mid-50s, dropping into the 40s by afternoon. The rest of the week is cooler with highs in the 30s on Wednesday and Thursday, getting back into the 40s by Friday. Another warm front lifts through between Friday and Saturday, bringing a chance for a few showers and temperatures in the upper 40s.
