Tracking chances of snow and frigid air
TONIGHT: Skies are clearing and temperatures are dropping into the low 20s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with a high of 37, winds shifting to the West as the day goes on.
EXTENDED: The chances to see precipitation are getting higher for Monday, but the probability of measurable amounts of snow are unlikely. We could see some snow earlier in the morning, but temperatures are quickly moving above freezing as the day goes on, meaning it'll be mostly rain. We could still see some hazardous road conditions if road temperatures stay at the below freezing line. This is something to keep track of if you plan on traveling on Monday. The next chance for snow is Wednesday night into Thursday, with our higher chances of actual snow on Thursday. This comes with a strong arctic air mass bringing temperatures down into the single digits for lows and teens for highs. The help from the extremely low temperatures with the system on the way is why we could see more measurable snow on Thursday. Specific amounts are unknown as of right now because it is still decently far out.
