Tracking a cold front that brings rain and a big cool down tonight
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cold with showers diminishing before sunrise. Lows in the low to mid-30s.
TOMORROW: Clouds gradually decrease. Wind chills in the mid-upper teens in the morning. Highs in the upper 30s to around 40.
EXTENDED: Showers are expected to become a bit more widespread tonight as the cold front moves in, with rain amounts between 0.5" and 0.75". Rain should exit before sunrise tomorrow, but winds shift to the north, bringing in that cooler air quickly. Temperatures drop into the low 30s by tomorrow morning, with wind chills in the upper teens. Clouds exit, leaving us with more sunshine and cold temperatures near 40 by tomorrow afternoon. Saturday will be breezy, with morning wind chills in the low to mid-teens, but the day looks dry. Sunday is only a touch warmer with temperatures getting into the lower 40s. Next week, we'll be watching two low pressure systems. There's much uncertainty around the path that these systems will take. We could end up with a rain/mix Monday night, or end up dry. We'll continue to fine tune over the coming days, but temperatures look to stay below average in the 40s all week.
