Tracking low humidity and plenty of sunshine on Tuesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and beautiful with highs in the low to mid-80s.

EXTENDED: We'll be about ten degrees cooler than average overnight, with lows falling into the upper 50s. Tomorrow is another great day with highs in the mid-80s. We begin to warm up by mid-week as upper high pressure builds, sending temperatures back into the low 90s. Thursday and Friday will be the hottest days of the week with highs getting into the mid-90s and a heat index between 96-99. A slow moving cold front is expected to stall out across the region and produce daily rounds of rain and storms Friday through Monday with plenty of dry time in between. Temperatures will be in the low 90s for the 4th, with the potential for a few storms, so we'll keep an eye on it as many people will have outdoor plans all weekend for the holiday. Total rain amounts could get into the 1-2" range, and the humidity looks to return with a vengeance all of next week.
