TOMORROW: Another cooler morning before above-average heat returns. Highs reach the mid-90s but low humidity will still keep the heat index near the air temperature.
EXTENDED: Tuesday highs continue climbing to near 100 degrees and a return of moisture will send the heat index up to 105+. Chances of scattered showers and storms return midweek but do little to shake the heat.
