Tracking another round of showers Sunday, soggy start to summer this week

TODAY: Drier for the morning under partly cloudy skies. This allows temperatures to peak in the low 80s. Scattered showers and storms are possible through the afternoon as a storm complex arrives out of Kansas.

TOMORROW: A second storm complex will fire up to the west in the early hours Monday, with storms moving through Mid-MO during the morning commute. Highs still reach the upper 70s as rain chances taper off late in the day.

EXTENDED: A trailing cold front will possibly bring another round of rain Monday afternoon, though that will depend on how well the atmosphere recovers from the active weekend. This front will settle across southern Missouri into Tuesday, leading to another round of storms during the day. More wet conditions are on the way this week for a very spring-like start to summer; highs this week dwell below average in the 70s.
