Tracking another round of storms Friday night

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 60s to around 70.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy, warm, and humid with highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Storms are clearing the area as we speak with the last of the rain exiting by 5:00 or so. The rest of the night is quiet with temperatures falling to around 70. Tomorrow is warm and humid as temperatures climb into the lower 80s. Clouds start to fill back in with another cold front setting up across the area by late afternoon. Showers and storms are expected to develop along the front between 7:00 - 9:00 PM, and will fill in to the south overnight. A few storms may produce small hail, but a Weather Alert Day or widespread severe weather threat is not anticipated. Rain and a few rumbles of thunder will continue into Saturday, keeping temperatures in the upper 60s. Clouds and showers move out Saturday night, leaving us with a gorgeous Sunday with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. Next week looks active with rounds of rain and a few storms moving in by Monday with widespread rain possible between Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs remain in the lower 70s. Rain amounts next week will amount to 2-3" between tomorrow and next Thursday.
