Tracking afternoon clearing skies before weekend showers/ storms

Today: Skies continue to clear after the passage of this mornings cold front and storms. Skies remain partly cloudy with winds out of the west around 10 mph. The afternoon high increases to around 80 degrees.

Tonight: Temperatures to just above the 60's as skies remain partly cloudy with winds out of the west.

Extended: Thursday looks to remain partly cloudy with a chance for an isolated shower or two near I-44. Friday afternoon, an incoming low pressure system pushes to the east from the Great Plains leading for increased chance for late afternoon through overnight showers and storms. These storms will remain in Central Missouri through all of Saturday before dissipating Sunday morning leading to cooler temperatures as we approach next week.
