Tracking a few showers overnight, mild weekend ahead
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with showers moving in after midnight. Lows in the lower 40s.
TOMORROW: Showers exit early, with clouds gradually diminishing during the day. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60.
EXTENDED: Clouds start to move back in tonight ahead of our next front that will bring a chance for some light rain overnight. Those showers look to arrive after midnight and exit by early morning, so most of us won't notice rain. The amounts look to be well under 0.25". As clouds exit, we'll see temperatures reach the upper 50s to around 60 despite a northwest wind during the day. Sunday is slightly warmer as winds shift back to the south, sending temperatures back into the mid-60s. By evening, we'll be tracking a cold front that will bring more clouds and a chance of showers overnight into Monday. Low pressure develops to our south Monday night into Tuesday, increasing our chances of rain overnight through Tuesday as the center of the low tracks right over us on Tuesday. That will bring our best chance of widespread rain for the week, taking showers with it as it moves northeast on Wednesday into Thursday. Rain totals for the week will amount to about 1". We'll end the week cooler with highs in the mid-50s and lows in the upper 30s Thursday night, so there could be some patchy frost developing once again.
