Tracking snow moving in this morning
THURSDAY
Another bout of wintry weather is moving in this morning. Areas along and north of I-70 will see this first swipe of snow throughout the day, with 1-2” possible by this evening. Highs will top out in the low 30’s near and north of the interstate, with the upper 30’s south of it.
TONIGHT
That snow will start to pivot this evening, bringing more light accumulations to more areas. We’ll pick up an additional 1-2” with this portion of the event, as lows fall into the middle 20’s. For a little more detail on tonight's snow, head over to the Insider Blog.
EXTENDED
Snow will finally come to an end by midday tomorrow but temperatures are going to struggle to recover. Highs on Friday will be in the low 30’s again to close out the week. We’ll fall even further Friday night, with lows nearing 10 and wind chills close to zero by Saturday morning. With that cold of a start, we’ll only be able to manage the low to mid 30’s Saturday afternoon. We’re warming up from there, with the upper 50’s to low 60’s moving in Sunday into Monday. We could be closing in on 70 by the middle of next week.
