Tracking another dose of Arctic air

single digits
KMIZ

TUESDAY

It’s much cooler this morning as Arctic air has settled in once again. Temperatures will only top out in the low to mid 20’s this afternoon despite mostly sunny skies overhead. Wind chills with a consistent breeze will top out in the teens.

TONIGHT

Keeping mostly clear skies on top of us, temperatures will drop once again tonight. We’ll make it all the way into the single digits by sunrise, but that icy wind will back off a bit.

EXTENDED

Winds will flip directions and turn more southerly on Wednesday. That will start to bring back the seasonal weather, but we’ll only top out around 30 tomorrow. We’re nearing 40 on Thursday before another front moves through. A few sprinkles or flurries will be possible with it, but won’t amount to much. Temperatures will drop back to near 30 on Friday before bouncing back for the weekend. Highs will return into the 40’s Saturday and Sunday as we stay dry.
