Tracking a mild day before the cold returns

IN THE 20S
KMIZ

MONDAY

Clouds will be on the increase as a front nears the area. It won’t move through until late tonight, giving temperatures a chance to reach the low 50s, despite the added cloud cover.

TONIGHT

The front will power through tonight, dropping temperatures into the teens by sunrise. Winds gusting out of the south during the day will turn out of the north, dropping wind chills into the single digits.

EXTENDED

We’ll be stuck in the cold on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 20s. We’re back in the 40s Thursday before another front delivers a glancing blow. That will drop highs into the 30s Friday before we’re back in the 40s this weekend
