Tracking a soggy start to the weekend

TODAY: Showers exiting early. Cold and cloudy with highs in the 40s.

TOMORROW: Skies clear up but highs remain in the low 40s.

EXTENDED: A stable pattern sets up for the week ahead to keep Mid-Missouri dry all the way to Christmas. Highs will rise to the low 50s but a few minor systems are expected to keep the warmup tame. These will be unable to bring rain to our region with limited moisture available. Temperatures are tracking slightly above average through the holiday weekend with near winter-like conditions in store for Christmas.
