Tracking unseasonably warm air ahead of another cool down
TODAY: Another deceivingly cool start will lead to a big warm up Tuesday. Expect plenty of sunshine and a stout wind from the south well into the afternoon. Highs will climb into the middle 70's before the day is over.
TONIGHT: We'll keep our southerly flow and add some clouds to our skies overnight. Temperatures will stay mild into the early hours Wednesday, dropping only into the middle 50's.
EXTENDED: Showers arrive early Wednesday. While everyone will have a chance at seeing rain, it will be a moderate chance of light showers. This won't be a washout with totals across the area generally less than a quarter of an inch. Behind the showers, cloudy skies linger and temperatures fall throughout the day. Our warmest temperatures will come during the morning hours. Near and below freezing mornings return Thursday and Friday respectively, with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 40's. A modest warm up put's afternoon highs back in the 50's this weekend before more active weather tracks our way.
