Tracking a warm weekend moving in

HOT ON HOMECOMING
KMIZ

FRIDAY: Some low-lying areas might wake up to some fog this morning but most of us will stay away from issues. Temperatures will start to warm up with a healthier dose of sunshine throughout the day. We’ll top out in the low to mid 80’s this afternoon.

TONIGHT: It’ll be a quiet night if you’re going out to root on those high school football teams. Partly cloudy skies will be overhead as temperatures make their way down into the low 60’s.

EXTENDED: We’ll keep the warm weather around tomorrow despite some more clouds entering the picture. A southerly breeze with gusts up to 25 mph will keep temperatures propped up in the upper 80’s Saturday despite some filtered sunshine. Highs look to stick around 90 into Sunday before our next chance for rain moves in Sunday night. Showers and storms look to move in from the west after midnight and will be with us through Monday morning. Highs will get knocked back into the mid to upper 70’s starting out the week. We’re quiet on Tuesday before our next shot at storms moves in Tuesday night, and sticks around on Wednesday. Highs look to stay in the 70’s next week.
