Tracking passing showers today

WEDNESDAY: Showers will be off and on throughout the day with an isolated rumble of thunder possible. Plenty of cloud cover will keep highs close to 70 this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Showers will dwindle tonight a few hours after sunset. Some dense fog will be possible getting closer to sunrise, however, with lows around 60.

EXTENDED: The low-pressure system will still be close enough to spark a few afternoon showers Thursday afternoon but will be pulling out of the region. Most of the showers will stay east of HWY 63 as highs reach the middle 70’s. We’re dry heading into the weekend, with warmer weather building. Highs will stretch into the middle 80’s on Friday, topping out in the upper 80’s Saturday. We’ll stay in the 80’s on Sunday before a cold front arrives Sunday night. Any showers or storms with this front look to be toward the overnight hours into Monday morning. Temperatures will get brushed back into the 70’s to start the week, before warming back up towards the middle of the week near 80.
