Tracking the return of pleasant weather

get outside today
KMIZ

WEDNESDAY: Some patchy fog will be possible this morning where winds can settle down. Most of us should be ok out the door, with a slight northeasterly breeze protecting us. There will be some low clouds to wake up to but those will break up by this afternoon. Highs will top out in the low to mid 80’s, with the humidity decreasing alongside the cloud cover.

TONIGHT: We’re under mostly clear skies and in a drier airmass. That will lead to a nice, refreshing night, with lows in the lower 60’s

EXTENDED: We repeat the day, but start out with less cloud cover. Highs will only top out in the low to mid 80’s despite some added sunshine. We’re tracking our next storm system into Friday. A frontal boundary will start to approach, bringing rounds of showers and storms to end the week. Those will move in Friday morning, with another round overnight into Saturday morning. Those trying to get out and root on some area football teams will want to stay up with the forecast, with some showers or storms likely present Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. Things settle down on Sunday, with high pressure setting back up. Highs will stay in the middle 80’s Sunday, with some slightly warmer temperatures possible on Labor Day. Things look to stay quiet getting back to work next week.
