THURSDAY: Another warm and hazy afternoon after some patchy fog this morning is on the way. Temperatures look to push close to 90 this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will give us the best shot at cooling off overnight, With winds swinging out of the southwest, temperatures will only bottom out in the low 70’s.

EXTENDED: You might notice the humidity a bit more as it dials up getting into the weekend. Highs on Friday will push into the low 90’s, with a chance to get into the middle 90’s Saturday and Sunday. One or two stray showers could help cool us off momentarily Friday or Saturday. A frontal boundary will approach late Sunday into Monday to provide a slightly better shot at storms. This should help take the edge off the heat into Monday with some more clouds holding highs near 90. Those clouds will break up into the middle of next week as the ridge strengthens over the Midwest. That will push highs back into the low to mid 90’s, with a heat index nearing the century mark.
