Tracking some dry weather, finally

foggy start
KMIZ

TUESDAY: All of that rain we’ve been tracking since this past weekend has turned into some more fog this morning. That looks to burn off around 9-10 AM this morning with sunshine making a return by this afternoon. It’ll be a very comfortable afternoon with highs only reaching the low to mid 80’s. Enjoy it while it’s here.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overnight will keep the comfortable theme going tonight. Lows will fall into the upper 60’s.

EXTENDED: Our westerly winds will flip out of the south overnight and we’ll be off and running Wednesday. Temperatures will warm into the low 90’s with a heat index in the mid to upper 90’s. We’ll at least get to enjoy a bit of a breeze both Wednesday and Thursday as things tighten up with an approaching front. Temperatures will make a push towards 90 again Thursday before storm chances take over again. We’re looking at the afternoon and evening for storms to push in, with a chance they’re on the strong side. That front looks like it’ll be slow to exit again, with a few more disturbances rolling along it into the weekend. Rounds of showers and storms could lead to another 1-3+ inches of rain through the weekend.
