Tracking a sunny start to the week

bright start
KMIZ

MONDAY: We’ll pick up a few clouds into the afternoon, but we’re sailing smoothly into another week otherwise. Temperatures will top out near 90 with a good dose of sunshine.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will stick around overnight as lows fall into the upper 60’s.

EXTENDED: Another quiet day tomorrow with highs back in the low 90’s underneath more sunshine. We’re tracking a fairly meager cold front into Wednesday. That will drop south bring a shot at storms by the afternoon and evening hours. A lot of us will stay dry with some pretty thin coverage expected. Thursday’s looking quiet with highs held back in the upper 80’s before more storm chances push in Friday. This system could stick around into the weekend, keeping the threat of rain in the forecast Saturday and Sunday.
