Tracking storms today, more rain this week

TODAY: Storms will move into the area from the south this morning, bringing chances for isolated flash flooding and high winds. These are expected to break apart briefly in the early afternoon before more rain later on. Temperatures will be similar to yesterday back in the mid to low 80s by the afternoon.

TOMORROW: Rain chances stick around with more showers and storms throughout the day. Highs cool a few degrees into the low 80s.

EXTENDED: Strong southerly flow will keep a front draped across Mid-Missouri for most of the week, lending to more chances for rain each day. Temperatures aren't expected to fluctuate much, as highs stick to the low 80s and overnight lows fall into the upper 60s. The front will finally break down as we close the week, and next weekend looks pleasant in the low 80s with clearer skies.
