Tracking Warming Temperatures and Weekend Storms

Today: Temperatures have been set back a few degrees today thanks to an overnight fry cold front from last night. Our high today sits five degrees above the average of 85 topping out at 90. Mostly Clear sky conditions persist with decreased humidity.

Tomorrow: Temperatures look similar to Tuesday with a high of 91. Mostly clear sky conditions continue into the early evening.

Extended: Thursday early morning, a few scattered storms move throughout central Missouri but exit by the late morning. temperatures on Thursday increase to 95 degrees. Fridays high temperatures sits in the upper 90's with the heat index climbing above 100. Friday, late in the evening, a line of thunderstorms pushes through much of Missouri. The biggest threat with these storms will be lightening and some scattered heavy downpours. Temperatures get closer to the average for the weekend topping out in the mid-to-upper 80's.
