Tracking a chance for storms today

TODAY: More clouds moved in overnight as low pressure approaches from the south. Some rain is possible this morning before warm temperatures kick up some spotty storms this afternoon. Most will stay dry today as highs reach the mid to low 80s. No severe storms are expected.

TOMORROW: Tomorrow will be very similar to Sunday with partly cloudy skies and another round of afternoon storms. Highs in the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: Low pressure is expected to stall over the southern U.S. and continue bringing us afternoon storms for much of this week. Severe threats are unlikely, with storms just bringing heavy rain and lightning. Rain chances taper off as the week comes to a close for a nicer weekend. Highs start off in the mid-80s and we slowly warm close to 90 by next weekend.
