Tracking another quiet night, with more rain around the corner

rain tomorrow

TONIGHT: Another quiet night in store. We'll stay mild again under partly cloudy skies with lows falling to near 60.

SUNDAY: We'll stay dry during the morning, but showers will return by the afternoon. An isolated rumble of thunder can't be ruled out, but nothing severe is expected. Highs still look to work their way into the 70's.

EXTENDED: Isolated showers will stick around into the Monday morning commute but should dwindle by late morning. At the same time, a cold front will be headed our direction. Ahead of that, if we can stay dry, our atmosphere will be priming itself for some stronger storms. Those storms will ignite during the afternoon and evening hours, as that front moves in. Large hail and gusty winds could be possible with some of these storms. Rain sticks around into Tuesday, but won't be as threatening with highs cooling off into the 60's. We dry out Wednesday but we'll stay cool. Highs look to stay in the 60's for the rest of the week, with a slight chance the showers return Thursday.
