Tracking possible frost tonight
WEDNESDAY: We’re waking up to some clouds this morning but those will depart into this afternoon. Despite abundant sunshine, temperatures will struggle to get back to 60 in some spots this afternoon with a steady northwest wind.
TONIGHT: The mostly clear skies will stay with us tonight as those winds settle down. Lows will fall into the low to mid 30’s as a result, which will lead to some frost by tomorrow morning.
EXTENDED: After a cold start, we recover nicely into Thursday with more upper 50’s and low 60’s. Clouds will increase by the afternoon ahead of our next chance for rain moving in Friday. Showers will hold off until Friday afternoon, and look to move out by Saturday afternoon. Most data is staying on the light side with rainfall amounts with this system, staying under 0.25”. The clouds will be tough to shake on Saturday but we manage to do it on Sunday. Temperatures Friday through Sunday will stay in the upper 50’s, keeping with the cool theme. A better chance to break into the 60’s Monday before another frontal boundary brings a reinforcing shot of cool air and rain chances Tuesday.
