Strong storms this evening with snow tomorrow
TONIGHT: The severe threat will continue until about 8-9 PM but the rain will stick around. Overnight lows will fall to into the mid and upper 30s as winds turn more northerly by daybreak and pick up. Gusts will reach up to 25 mph. Some of our western counties could see rainfall transition into a wet snow. This can be expected to accumulate on grassy and elevated surfaces with 1-3" of snow likely. The further west you travel, the more likely you'll see snow impacts.
TOMORROW: We'll wake up to snowfall trying to continue to impact the area, but by late morning, that snowfall will transition back into rain. Overall, we can expect to see another 1-2" of precipitation accumulation by tomorrow afternoon. High temperatures will only be in the lower 40s for the day.
EXTENDED: We get back to the 50's with some sunshine Friday, and keep the warming trend going into the weekend. Highs will threaten 60 Saturday before getting there Sunday. Our next weather-maker moves in late Monday into Tuesday, bringing back the chances for some more rain.
