Rain chances looming in the near distance

TONIGHT: Cloud cover will increase as we approach Monday morning. Windy conditions will persist, so you should avoid any type of outdoor burning. Lows will fall into the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mid-Missouri is headed toward another beautiful day of partly cloudy skies and temperatures near 70 degrees. It'll be breezy once more with winds sustaining around 10-15mph.

EXTENDED: Cloud cover is expected to continue building as rain chances will enter the forecast as early as Tuesday. We'll start off with the odd sprinkle Tuesday, but more widespread rain will enter the area Wednesday. The good news is that it doesn't appear that we'll be tracking severe weather. The bad news is that this rainy pattern will be with us through next weekend. Temperatures will hold tightly to the 60s until Saturday when they begin to fall back into the lower 50s.
